Troca de Primavera

Eu participei na Troca de Primavera que a Carla tão simpáticamente promoveu no seu Jardim.
E como hoje entrou a Primavera ( que tão bem vinda é!!!) aproveito para vos mostrar o que enviei à Raquel, a menina que me calhou no sorteio.

 

A Raquel tem um blog de culinária e por isso achei que era boa ideia oferecer-lhe algo que ela pudesse usar nas suas produções culinárias.
Ela gostou imenso e eu fiquei muito feliz por isso.
Passem por lá e vejam como são apetitosas as suas receitas.

My first order

Remember last post when I said that I'm having a Facebook page for my crafts works?

Hi, I've been a little away but I'm still around!
I just made a facebook page, go there and have a look!

Chapéus em crochet ::: Crochet hats

Últimamente tenho alternado o tricot com o crochet, apesar de ter feito muito tricot em miúda,  foi com a descoberta do crochet que redescobri o gosto pelos fios. Neste momento regressei um pouco ao tricot que me dá imenso prazer. Vai daí, é difícil optar por um ou por outro, e por isso vou variando :)

Estes dias fiz vários chapéus em crochet, assim que acabei o primeiro, decidi começar logo outro igual pois adorei o resultado. Um deles ofereci à filha de uma amiga, e o outro ainda está aqui por casa (as minhas filhas já tem muitos chapéus feitos por mim, apesar de quererem sempre mais!!).

Que vos parece?

Lately I've been doing a little bit of crochet and knit, although I did a lot of knit when I was younger, it was with crochet that I rediscover the yarn pleasure. At this moment I'm in a knit mood that gives me a great pleasure. That why it's very difficult for me to choose one or the other, so I do a bit of each :)

Last days I made 2 crochet hats, when I finish the 1st, I decided to do another one right away cause I just love it a lot. One of them I offered to a friends daughter and the other is still around here ( my daughters already have a lot of them that I did but they always want more!!)

mais um chapéu ::: another hat

Depois de uma ausência não programada, aqui estou eu de volta! Desta vez venho mostrar mais um chapéu de Verão que me deu muito gozo fazer e é muito leve e fresco. Adaptei as instruções daqui. Espero que gostem :)

Entretanto tenho outro quase pronto que espero poder mostrar nos próximos dias! Neste momento fazer chapéus em crochet é uma actividade que me está a dar imenso prazer.

After an unscheduled absence, I'm back!! This time I come to show you another summer hat that gave me much joy to do and it's very light and fresh. I adapted the pattern from here.
In the mean time I have another hat almost done and I hope t show it in the next few days!!
Lately, making crochet hats s an activity that gives me a great pleasure.

Scalloped Flapper Hat with Ribbon

Com o aproximar do tempo quente, a vontade de fazer chapéus de Verão aumenta. São projectos rápidos de fazer e que ficam um encanto na cabeça de qualquer criança.

Desta vez fiz um para uma bebé linda de 7 meses a juntar aos 2 que tinha feito o ano passado para as minhas filhas.

As instruções são da Raquel e foram as que eu escolhi pela minha participação no CAL do ano passado.

O fio usado é da Katia - Mississippi e é composto por 60% algodão e 40% acrílico, trabalhei com uma agulha nº 4,5.

O que vos parece? Eu gosto imenso de os ver e de os fazer :)

With warmer weather coming, the desire to make Summer hats increase. They are quick to make and that hats are a charm in the head of any child.

This time I made one for a beautiful 7 months baby girl in addiction to the 2 I made last year for my daughters.

The pattern belongs to Rachel and is the one I choose for my participation in her CAL lat year.

The yarn used is Katia - Mississippi composed of 60% cotton and 40% acrylic and worked with a 4,5 crochet needle.

What do you think about it? I like a lot to see them and to make them :)

um punhado de corações :::: a bunch of hearts

Amanhã é dia de S. Valentim e as minhas filhas andam super entusiasmadas com o assunto. Estão sempre à procura de pretextos para fazer alguma coisa diferente e este fim de semana foi  dedicado a fazer um punhado de corações em crochet para amanhã levar para as colegas do Jardim Infantil.

Este ano é muito especial para elas pois são colegas de sala no Jardim Infantil, por isso os amiguinhos são os mesmos e a cumplicidade é enorme. No próximo ano a Alexandra já vai para a 1ª classe e a Filipa continuará no Jardim Infantil. A sala é maioritariamente constituída por meninas (14) e muito poucos meninos (4).

As prendinhas para as meninas estão todas prontas, falta só um miminho para os rapazes.

Estes corações em crochet foram feitos segundo diferentes modelos, todos descobertos em outros blogues que vou seguindo.

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day and my daughters are both super excited with it. They are always looking for something different to do, and this weekend was dedicated to make a handful of crochet hearts to give tomorrow to their Kindergarden friends.

This year is very special for them because they are colleagues in the Kindergarden class, so the little friends are the same and the complicity is huge. Next year Alexandra already starts the 1st class and Filipa will continue in the Kindergarden. The class is is mostly comprised of girls (14) and very few boys (4).

The small gifts for the girls are ready, just missing the ones for the boys.

These hearts in crochet were made according to different patterns, all found in lovely blogs that I follow.

um por dia - one a day

Mais uma vez vou mostrar o andamento da minha manta de hexágonos no  grupo One a Day.
Desde a última vez que a mostrei fiz um grande avanço: na altura tinha 120 hexágonos já unidos e neste momento já tenho 190!!

Once again I'll show you the progress of my hexagon blanket on the group One a Day.

Since last time I showed it to you I did a great progress: at that time I had 120 hexagons joined and now I have 190!!

Entretanto estive a fazer contas para ter uma ideia mais aproximada de quantos hexágonos irei usar e contei cerca de 450 :( O que quer dizer que ainda me falta muito!!!

In the meanwhile I take some measurements to know I many hexagons I'll need to finish it and I counted around 450 :( Which means I still have a lot of work to do!!!

Da próxima vez não sei se conseguirei tirar uma foto a apanhá-la toda!!!

Next time I don't know if I can take a picture of it all!!!

Manta de hexágonos - Hexagon blanket

Tenho um trabalho de crochet em mãos que é muito demorado de fazer e por isso é daqueles projectos para se ir fazendo quando apetece o que nem sempre acontece. Por isso, decidi partilhá-lo no blog da Carole e assim criar mais um incentivo para o ver finalizado. Não pensem que não estou a gostar, mas como há muitos que eu quero fazer e não tenho tempo para todos, tenho que o ir intercalando com outros.

A ideia é ir fazendo um por dia, neste caso um hexágono por dia. O Projecto chama-se "One a day" e também tem um grupo no Ravelry dedicado ao tema.

I'm doing a crochet work that is very time consuming and is one of those projects to keep going and sometimes I don't feel in the mood for it. That's why I decided to participate in Carole's blog in order to get another incentive to finalize it. Don't you think that I'm not liking to do it, but I really want to do so many other's and I don't have time for all!!

The idea is to do one per day in that case, one hexagon per day. The project is called "One a day" and also has a Ravely group dedicated to it.

É uma manta de hexágonos para a cama duma das minhas filhas (ambas a querem!!) por isso vou ter que fazer mais uma depois desta estar concluída!!!

Neste momento já tenho 120 hexágonos unidos (ainda falta rematar muitas pontas) e tenho mais cerca de outros 120 para unir.

It's a hexagon's blanket for one of my daughter's bed (both want it!!) so I'll have to do one more after this is complete!!!

At this moment I have 120 hexagons crocheted together (I still have a lot of weave in the ends work to do) and have about another 120 hexagons to connect to the blanket.

Mesmo assim acho que não vão ser suficientes para acabar a manta, mas isso é um assunto em que não quero pensar para não ficar desmoralizada.

Even so, I think it won't be enough to end the blanket, but this is a subject on which I don't want to think about right now.

Esta manta é constituída por rosetas redondas de 3 cores que depois são todas cozidas umas às outras com cor branca. É na quarta ronda que são executados os hexágonos. Ao todo há 7 variações de cor: verde, azul, roxo, rosa, bege, amarelo e vermelho e para cada uma destas cores há 3 tons diferentes que vão sendo usados de forma aleatória.

This blanket is made with 3 different color rounds that will be connected with white yarn. It's in the 4th round that the hexagons are made. I'm using 7 color variations: green, blue, purple, pink, beige, yellow an red and for each of these colors there are 3 different tones used randomly.

E aqui está o trabalho que fiz para o concurso lançado pela Elisabeth Andree do about crochet blog:

A gola que fiz para este concurso foi trabalhada em tubo e tem a possibilidade de ser usada com uma ou duas voltas ao pescoço. Para lhe adicionar um toque especial, trabalhei duas carreiras com uma lã de cor diferente.
The cowl I made for this contest was worked into a tube and has the possibility of being used with one or two laps around the neck. In order to add a special touch, I made 2 rounds with a different color yarn.

Usei uma agulha nº 8 apesar do fabricante sugerir trabalhar esta lã com agulha nº6. O meu objectivo foi criar uma gola mais fofa e mais leve ao trabalhar com uma agulha mais grossa.
A lã usada, é da "Lanas Stop" Top Merino. É uma lã superwash, lavável à máquina composta por 52% lã e 48% acrílico. Usei 2 novelos de 100 gr de lã bege e um resto de lã azul.
I used a 8mm needle despite the wool manufacturer's suggested work with a 6mm one. My intention was to made a softer and lighter cowl using a thicker needle.
The wool I used is "Lanas Stop" Top Merino. It is a superwash wool, machine washable made with 52%wool and 48% acrylic. I used 2 100gr skeins and a bit of blue from my stash.

Um dos requisitos do concurso era fazer uma gola/cachecol ou um par de luvas sem dedos, ou uma capa de almofada utilizando uma das 3 variantes de um ponto específico de crochet (não sei o nome em Português). O ponto que usei foi a variante nº 1 e optei por fazer uma gola, acessório com muita mais utilidade para mim do que qualquer um dos outros.
A gola tem 22cm de altura por 142cm de comprimento.
One of the requests from the contest was to made a cowl or scarf, a pair of mittens or a cushion cover, using one of 3 stitch pattern or a combination of them. Th stitch I used was the 1st one presented and I choose to made a cowl that I consider more useful to me than the other ones. The cowl is 22 cm high by 142 cm long.

Gostei tanto de fazer esta gola que não resisti em fazer outra, com o mesmo ponto, o mesmo fio, mas desta vez com a agulha indicada pelo fabricante para ver se o conforto da gola é equivalente. Confesso que acho a primeira mais confortável, mas também gosto imenso da segunda.

I liked making this cowl so much that decided to made another one using the same stitch, the same wool, but this time using the 6mm needle to see if the new one would be as comfortable as the 1st one. I confess that the 1st one is more comfortable but I also enjoy the 2nd one a lot.

2011: o ano do crochet - 2011: Crochet year

O ano de 2011 acabou e só posso dizer que foi um ano em cheio!! Foi no dia 1 de Janeiro que peguei numa agulha de crochet pela primeira vez e dei os primeiros passos pela mão da minha irmã. Nunca mais larguei as agulhas, e pelo caminho também recordei os tempos de adolescente em que tricotei muitas e muitas camisolas.
2011 is over and I can only say it was a great year! It was on the 1st of January that I picked up a crochet hook for the first time and took the first steps by the hand of my sister. Since then, I never dropped needles, and I also remembered my teenager time again when and knitted lots and lots of sweaters.

Apesar de estar a gostar de fazer tricot outra vez, o que me agrada mesmo é fazer crochet. São tantas as peças que tenho vindo a descobrir e que quero experimentar ....
Though just like to do knitting again, the true is that I like to crochet. There are so many pieces that I have discovered and want to try ....

Além do crochet e do tricot, também experimentei o trapilho, gostei, acho que dá um bonito trabalho, mas cansa muito por ser um "fio" tão grosso. O que vale é que se faz tudo muito depressa. Nos 2 últimos dias de 2011 ainda fiz uma almofada para a minha filha mais nova.
In addition to knitting and crochet, I also experienced the Trapilho, like it, I think it gives a beautiful work, but too tired because it's a very thick "thread". The good news is that everything is done very quickly. In the last 2 days of 2011 I made a floor pillow for my youngest daughter.

Confesso que sempre que vou às compras, me apetece passar pela loja habitual para me fornecer de novelos e meadas de todo o tipo de fios.
I confess that whenever I go shopping, I feel like going through the local store to buy skeins and skeins of all kinds of yarn.

Estes dias estive a fazer um apanhado de tudo o que fiz em 2011 e fiquei impressionada com a quantidade de peças que me saíram das mãos. Aqui fica uma lista:
In the last days I did a roundup of everything I made in 2011 and was impressed by the number of pieces that I got out of hand.

- mais algumas experiências com estrelas;  Some more experiments with stars;

- 1 manta de hexágonos ainda em execução. Todos os outros trabalhos acima mencionados estão CONCLUÍDOS!!!!!  A hexagon blanket in progress. All other works mentioned above are COMPLETED !!!!!

Tricot: Knit

Trapilho:

- 1 tapete; 1 round rug

- 2 almofadas; 2 floor pillows
- várias pulseiras e colares. Several bracelets and necklaces.

Ainda fiz umas incursões em trabalhos com papel: taças, calendário de advento, flocos de neve, ....
Still made some inroads in working with paper crafts: cups, advent calendar, snowflakes, ....

Só desejo que 2012 seja assim tão produtivo :)

I only wish that 2012 be so productive:)
